Welcome to The Pocket Source blog hop! We are so excited to share a little about why we love The Pocket Source with you all today and some Pocket Scrapbooking! I am excited to have a new venue to view and share ideas for pocket scrapbooking.
If you haven't seen my blog before, I am a mom of one toddler and found Pocket Scrapbooking a little over a year ago when I was unhappy with the options for documenting my son's first years. I have learned so much from other pocket scrap bloggers over the year! I started out strictly digital, but realized that I would likely never have the pages printed. So I changed over to hybrid in October of last year. I absolutely love being able to see my finished pages each week. I feel much more accomplished. And my two year old likes to look at the pages. You can see more of my hybrid process here
I wanted to keep photos simple for this layout so I added some text to them in Photoshop before printing.
I love making little see through pockets for sequins and other bits. This one, I used gold washi to seal, but I usually use some Glossy Accents to glue the top together.
Used the Paislee Press Wood grain templates for the title card this week. This photo was perfect don't you think?
I liked this photo of having to share my craft space with trains. And the photo at the bottom is of pancakes if you aren't sure. We went to a pancake feed hosted by our local Kiwanis club.
It was so hard to pick, but this card may be my favorite this week. Ian doesn't cuddle much, and he hardly ever keeps still for daddy.
The Currently card was a freebie I just loved! you can find it here
I added an 8.5x11 of the Valentine's card we sent out this year, and stuffed our cards and menu for our Valentine's dinner behind it.
Here is my finished Olympics pages. These were really fun. I wish I could have watched more, but missed a lot of things. I know curling is big in this part of the country, but having one channel showing it pretty much the entire two weeks was a waste I think. I wanted to see much more skiing and skating.
The new Paislee Press template cards came in very handy for this spread!
I made a medal count card you can download here
I hope you will check out The Pocket Source! It is an invaluable tool for every pocket scrapbooker!
