Hello! I’m so excited to be sharing here today! I was so happy to play with the capture line because of the pinks, yellows and the black and white. However I found myself gravitating to the blues when I started playing. I have two girls and most of my layouts are really, REALLY girlie!

I love taking candid photos, they end up being my very favorite. I took these photos for my project life album to capture our everyday, and the very rare occasions.

As I’m learning to create digital layouts I find that hybrid is definitely my absolute favorite way to scrap! I still get that tactile feel, but the ideas are endless with digital files! I’ve created a process video for this layout so I hope you enjoy.

Hi I’m Katherine! I live in Edmonton, AB, Canada with my husband Brett, our two crazy daughters, Dylan and Olivia, and our dog, Dax. I work full time doing the accounting for a small business.

When I’m not working or chasing around the girls, I’m usually scrapping. My favorite form of memory keeping is Project Life. I started it in 2011 and never looked back. Though my style has changed over the years, I think I've  finally found a rhythm and style that I love.

I love good food, coffee, chocolate, Harry Potter, pretty packages, trivia games, anything DIY and I especially love that my city has all four seasons.

Kym Tsukamoto │ Hybrid Inspiration

Aloha!  Kym here to share my approach for a simple 2015.  In my first year of pocket scrapping, I tried to create my own elaborate weekly title cards and I was a fail.  I couldn't keep up with trying to decorate everything.  Last year, I found a set of pre-printed weekly title cards and that worked for me.  I was able to just throw it in, add photos, and embellish as I had time.  I decided that I needed to do that again this year if I wanted to complete the entire year.  When I found these 2015 Brush Script Title Cards, I knew it was perfect for me and how I wanted to approach the new year.  

As soon as I got my download, I printed out the PDF files on some linen cover stock paper.  It has a nice texture to the papers and made it a cheap alternative to photo paper or card stock.  

Then I cut them out to have them ready to use each week.

When I'm ready to work on my weekly spreads I use my Silhouette Cameo to print and cut digital paper and elements.  This month, I used Little Lamm & Co. Capture Scrapbook kit and matching Pocket Scrapbook Cards PNG and Printables.  Who doesn't love a great photo kit?  The bottom right corner, This Story, card is from the Everyday Collection.  I printed that card on a transparency sheet then filled the pocket with some gold star sequins.  I stamped a few words, added a hint of a doily, and added a heart chipboard sticker and I was done.

​Here are a few left over pieces that will be used for next week's page.  Oh before I forget, those gold trim labels, yup gorgeous stuff.  You can find them in For Mom/Mum Digital Scrapbook Kit.  I always print and cut them when I have any extra space as they are my go to product in almost everything.

Cinnabear..Cinna Binna Tinna Minna..Cinna..Cinnamon Buns Morgan. :heart: She is that dog. The dog that makes everything better just by simply being.

I love scrapping her, capturing her beauty and catching her in quiet moments. If she sees you coming with the camera, she's coming up to nose it, you have to catch her unaware...candid shots are her specialty. :heart:

Zakirah Zakaria │ Hybrid Notebooks

Hi everyone! Zakirah here from Little Lamm & Co's Creative Team. Today I would like to share with you a little DIY project that I created with Amie's new kit.
A few weeks ago, my family and I started to purge our home from clutter. I found tons of loose foolscap papers from my sisters' school years. They're all still nice and usable so I decided to make some DIY notebooks.
I've never made my own notebooks before, so I had to Google for a tutorial. I found  a great step-by-step tutorial from this website  that used rubber cement to bind the papers.  Thankfully for a newbie like me, making a simple DIY notebook is not that hard.

I used Elmer's Rubber Cement, which can be found in most hardware stores (like Ace Hardware). A 4oz bottle costed me about $4.50 (MYR 14, in my currency).

I decided to cut the foolscap papers into half, so the size of the notebook is like Michele Wooderson's (of Mish Mash blog - she makes BEAUTIFUL handmade notebooks!):

Without further ado, here's a few shots of the book-making process:

1. I designed the covers using Photoshop, and got it printed at a local print shop. After cutting the covers & papers into size, I bound them using Elmer's rubber cement. I applied the rubber cement on the papers first, left them to dry and applied a few more coats to strengthen the bind. Then, I added the front & back cover, and applied a few coats of rubber cement on them to bind.

4. When the covers & papers are properly bound, I applied a masking tape to hold the front & back covers together:

5. Finally, here are the finished notebooks:

6. I embellished the front covers a bit. I used a foam tape to secure the flower into place, and VitalFix super glue to fix the beads onto the cover.
