Hello! I’m so excited to be sharing here today! I was so happy to play with the capture line because of the pinks, yellows and the black and white. However I found myself gravitating to the blues when I started playing. I have two girls and most of my layouts are really, REALLY girlie!

I love taking candid photos, they end up being my very favorite. I took these photos for my project life album to capture our everyday, and the very rare occasions.

As I’m learning to create digital layouts I find that hybrid is definitely my absolute favorite way to scrap! I still get that tactile feel, but the ideas are endless with digital files! I’ve created a process video for this layout so I hope you enjoy.

Hi I’m Katherine! I live in Edmonton, AB, Canada with my husband Brett, our two crazy daughters, Dylan and Olivia, and our dog, Dax. I work full time doing the accounting for a small business.

When I’m not working or chasing around the girls, I’m usually scrapping. My favorite form of memory keeping is Project Life. I started it in 2011 and never looked back. Though my style has changed over the years, I think I've  finally found a rhythm and style that I love.

I love good food, coffee, chocolate, Harry Potter, pretty packages, trivia games, anything DIY and I especially love that my city has all four seasons.

Have you ever looked at your pet and just melted? I have.

Cinnabear..Cinna Binna Tinna Minna..Cinna..Cinnamon Buns Morgan. :heart: She is that dog. The dog that makes everything better just by simply being.

I love scrapping her, capturing her beauty and catching her in quiet moments. If she sees you coming with the camera, she's coming up to nose it, you have to catch her unaware...candid shots are her specialty. :heart:

I loved pairing Cinna with some of the beautiful artwork created by Amie, at Little Lamm & Co. :heart:

Scrapbook Layouts │ January 15, 2015

I finally got some time to work on my scrapbook album.  I wanted so much to use this newest cut file from Studio Calico and when I thought of it as soon as I saw this photograph.  I didn't have any of the popper string from New Year's Day, but I could use some stitches to give the effect.  

I have to say I love the veneer diamonds that came in my scrapbook kit this month, but I really had to remove them carefully from the sheet so as not to damage the cutout that was left behind.  I knew I wanted to use that right away!

Project Life 2014 │ Week 27

It was one of those weeks that had so much going on, that I kept the pages as simple as possible.  I kept telling myself that I would come back and finish these, and then they sat for two weeks.  So I am saying done. I am fine with that.  I had to add an additional full size page to document July 4th and our air museum trip!  So much for getting my weeks on two pages!
