December Daily 2014 │ Days 8-14

Last week began with a wonderful gift.  A new addition to a part of my family.  A new December baby so Ian will have a cousin with another December Birthday!  I added some sheer ribbon to give the effect of the gift that this little one is!

Tuesday Ian got to see Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer for the first time.  He loved the big SCARY abominable snow monster.  I am so lucky he likes to be scared.  He is shy, but not usually scared.

Wednesday, I worked on my Christmas cards.  I got the cards in the mail and they were adorable.

I printed a map on a piece of vellum paper with hearts on all the places we are sending cards to.

Thursday, I addressed envelopes.  Though my stamps still aren't here and I can't mail them yet.  Note for next year, Order Christmas stamps in October.

Friday, Ian and I went to my home town where I was a secret reader in my niece's classroom.  The rest of the day was all about potty training.  I have been working on projects in the bathroom since we are spending so much time there.  I am happy though.  I have been waiting a year for him to finally want to do this and it is way easier than if I had made him do it.

Saturday, we went to Santa's village.  Ian especially loved the reindeer and the sleigh ride.  He liked decorating a cookie with Mrs. Claus too.  Although I think he was a bit confused since he said peanut butter sandwich when she asked him what he would like.

Sunday was a baking day.  It was so foggy and dark, I couldn't get any decent photos, so I borrowed some from the recipes I used.
We did some ornaments too that will be finished up this week, so I will photograph them and document them for this week.

I love seeing everyone's pages on IG and the Studio Calico blogs!  Link up your pages here in the comments too!
