Week in the Life 2016 │ Saturday and Sunday Photos

Ian "tucked" Moo in for his middle morning nap.

Painting pictures is a big thing right now. It helped pass the time since Ian just couldn't wait for grandma and papa to come get him for a sleep over.

So are games.

He had to show grandma and papa his koala crate when they came to pick him up.

All packed and ready!

finally home after running some errands. I hate shopping on Saturdays.

We ordered Chinese and then watched a movie. Loved it! Of course, I love anything with Ryan Reynolds in it. lol

Sunday - Caught Moo drinking his water again.

Headed out to pick up Ian and visit with my family.

Fun with cousins

Bye bye Papa!

Jump Jump!

Might have been his favorite part of the sleep over. Riding in the side by side with papa.

When we got home, he jumped out of the car to go play with his friends, only to come home 5 minutes later all upset because they were all going swimming and he couldn't go too. I told him he needed to eat something and we could have  a picnic with fluffernutter sandwiches. All better!

And then, daddy said, lets go to the park!

And a little bike ride.

Found this at home.

Daddy made blue cheese burgers and baked beans for dinner.

Then read a few stories.

Now to start working on my album! I have a few things that need to be done first, but I will be getting things ready in any spare moments I can find!

Week in the Life 2016 │ Friday Photos

Friday breakfast is a salted caramel mocha chia seed pudding. Kind of a treat, but with nutrients. lol

It's cold!! Ian was having fun drawing on the windows.

On to legos even though I've been asking him to get dressed for an hour.

Well, it's progress I guess.

Morning lessons.

Ian went to ask if his friend could come over for a play date inside because it's only in the 40s today.

We made potstickers for lunch which the boys tried but didn't care for. So I made peanut butter and jelly sandwiches too.

And they had a little picnic

Sherbet for dessert!

Little boys make big messes.

They both loved playing this Disney card game. It kept them busy for almost an hour.

And I had time to do laundry and fold clothes.

The unassuming bench holds a secret.

It's were Moo hides when we have company. And usually the spot of his late morning nap.

After the play date was over, Ian was a bit hyper so we had a little movie time to calm down.

Ian wanted to help me use the spirilizer. I was almost jumping up and down at the grocery store yesterday when I saw the size of the carrots they had. Carrots don't work in the spirilizer unless they are at least 3 inches wide. I have a recipe I have been wanting to make so much, but didn't want to use matchstick carrots.

While we were doing that, I thought I would take a photo of the pantry cabinet. The bottom shelf is mine and most things on the top two are hubby's. Wondering what our tastes will be in ten years and what we will have on hand when feeding a 14 year old boy.

I wanted to try to get some work done, but Ian confiscated my iPad and pen

The garbage truck came so Ian went out to retrieve the cans.

Then we had a little snack while waiting for daddy to come home.

That's it for today. I seem to take less photos each day as the week comes to an end. Partly because the hubby gets annoyed with the camera, and partly because weekends are just slower moving. Does anyone else notice that while documenting their week?

More tomorrow!!

Week in the Life 2016 │ Thursday Photos

Start the day with a bit of strength training. Strong muscles help when you have arthritis and your joints don't always work right.

Breakfast

Ian wakes up while I'm watching the morning news and comes up for cuddles. This is one of my favorite times of the day.

Time to make his breakfast

I cut some lilacs to bring in. Then I turned on the ceiling fan and the house was filled with their scent. So awesome.

Here we go off to preschool!

Ian's class had a bowling field trip today. He was so excited to get a spare on one frame.

Back at preschool, he had to show me the puppet show.

Time to run errands. Target and Starbucks are a big favorite!

June 1st, West Fargo will start getting water from Fargo and I hopefully won't have to go to the store twice a week for water anymore.

Groceries and all that water.

My Studio Calico kit came!!!

Time for some quiet and a movie.

Halfway through the movie, he wanted to ride his bike. Without the training wheels. We are still working on balance.

Nor sure what this was about. But I will take any unsolicited hug I can get.

Thought I should take dome pics of Ian's room since it will change frequently in the coming years.

Afternoon workout. I like to ride the stationary bike for 30 minutes and watch Comedy central

Time for dinner. Tonight's menu - Cuban Sandwiches with the awesome smoked pork we did the night before.

Then the regular bedtime routine with Ian not wanting to stop playing to get ready for story time and bed. And end with Moo cat and his funny way of drinking water.

If you would like to see more Moo, you can follow him at http://www.Instagram.com/moofangwaffles

More tomorrow!
