Project Life 2015 │ Week 6

Do you ever have one of those weeks that you just aren't feeling it?  That was putting together week 6 for me.  I have all  my pretty February pinks out to use and what color were all my photos?  Well, they are never usually pink,  but I just couldn't make the pretty stuff I wanted to use work with my week.  So my heart wasn't in it.  I just put the photos in and that was that.  The most important thing for me each week, is getting the pictures and documentation done before I forget.

I just didn't have the energy to add the little pretty things I normally like to add.  And that is perfectly okay.  The story is there with or without the glitter.

I had plenty of photos.  So many I liked in fact, that I had to add a flip card with a collage photo just to fit them all in.

I do have a little announcement.  My Print Shop is now up at Etsy.  I have had many requests for my little cards to be made into wall art and I finally have some to share.  It will be a mix of all different media whatever suits my fancy that particular day.  It works for me since I like my gallery wall to have an eclectic mix of prints.  There is also an option to have me create something for you.  If there is a quote you love and want made, or there is a pocket card from one of my sets you would love to hang on your wall, just contact me via my shop!   Also contact me if you would like to bundle several prints.  I will gladly offer a discount on orders of 4 or more. I have more to come so keep checking things out!

Also new this week, is a little set of Spa Day inspired cards!  On sale through Sunday.

  1. Just wondering how you made the Peter Pan card for your PL? Love your work-so fun!

    1. I took a screen shot of an ebook Ian has (That we read several times a day) and then added the text and frame in Photoshop. You could achieve a similar effect with an app like Letterglow on your mobile or in a free editing program like PicMonkey.

  2. Thanks for the reply! This is truly one of my favorite PL spreads you've shown. Also love to look at your Dec Daily time and time again!

    1. Thank you! My DD album is sitting here on my desk just waiting to be finished. My goal is to complete it this weekend.

  3. I forgot to ask you one other question-are the L.K.King books better read in a certain order? Does one story build from another or does it not matter. This book sounds really interesting but when I looked it up there were so many more! Just wondering-thanks so much.

    1. I would read them in order. Not every book is tied to another, but Locked Rooms and Justice hall both have back story that happens in prior books. And then of course, her newest book, Dreaming Spies, is now taking us back in time to before Locked Rooms.

  4. You say your heart wasn't in it, but they are really lovely pages, Amie! I totally get where you're coming from though, sometimes it's just good enough to get the stories recorded. :)
